Last updated: October 31, 2026

OneBorder Inc. (“OneBorder”, “we”, “us”) is a Canadian company based in Ontario. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit oneborder.io or contact us. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other privacy laws that apply to us.

Information we collect

We collect the details you choose to submit through our forms, such as your name, business email, company name, website, country, the markets and services you are interested in, and your message. If you subscribe to our insights, we collect your email address and your consent.

When you submit a form, our website also records technical details needed to deliver and protect it, such as the date and time, the page you were on and your IP address. Our web host keeps standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
  • To provide and improve our services if you become a client.
  • To send you insights by email, only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep our website secure and prevent spam and abuse.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies that our website needs to work. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are visited and how people find us. Google Analytics only runs if you select “Accept” in our cookie banner. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) and collects information such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not use Google Analytics to identify you.

You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded.

How we share it

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our website and communications, under appropriate safeguards. These currently include our website host (Hostinger), our email delivery provider (Brevo) and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google (Google Analytics). Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any resulting business relationship, and we delete or anonymise them when they are no longer needed, unless we must keep them longer by law.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to form submissions.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal limits. To make a request, email us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
